I am not an expert reviewer. I would warn folks that this really is a technical book and I don't recommended it for the casual reader. Databases are a huge subject to try and cover; lots of detail. It was recommended as a reference for a beginning SQL class I am taking at the Comm College. So it's a good book if I have questions about syntax or want to review of what was covered in class. The text sometimes gets ahead of the illustrations. So some more editing might have helped. It's not the book I would want buy if I was trying to learn SQL on my own, but I would not recommend doing that to anyone. Just my two cents.
Hard to understand sometimes the way it is written.
